To Those Who Care

I didn't die.

I've been having serious connection issues of late. I couldn't even get on dA and it took me four minutes to do a single thing on the internet. I go on every now and then, hoping for better results, but no avail. It blows.

So the past... I don't know how long... I've been playing bass and drumming my ass off. I lost my eraser, so i couldn't draw a thing. I'm thinking of just picking up a marker or pen and hitting the paper. I need a new style anyway. I always feel held back by something when i draw. That's why i love writing stories, poetry, and music so much. I have wings when I do those said things.

Unrelated:
I went to a little get together with my friends. It was nothing much, just a movie night, an excuse to see each other. There was a guitar, so i decided to pick it up. Since i cut my nails the night before, i couldn't fingerpick, so i just played it like a bass.

A friend ripped me on it. "It's a guitar, jackass..." He said. He tossed a pick my way. I deftly caught it.

I told him that I couldn't bar at all. To prove it, i put my index finger at the five fret and strummed with the pick. Much to my surprise, it wasn't a mushy, half dead note, half pressed, crap harmonic sound. It was clean.

I flipped shit. I tried to do that for two years, and then i do it spontainiously? The hell?

Anyway... Yesterday, i found out what the problem was with my connection. It was my brother, playing Xbox live, eating up all the bandwidth. I felt retarded. i should have known...
But! Now he's swamped with college work for putting it off so long, so i'm in the clear now! Evil, yes... but i don't give a damn...
